Learning English for Business
Get Confidence in Business Communication!
Learning English for Business
Link School of English in London will be hosting a free event for non-native speakers of English planning to start or growing a business. This event has been featured in top ten events of Global Entrepreneurship Week UK 2013.
Communication is the heart of any business. Successful communication starts with good language skills. Is your English good enough to represent the business well, connect with business partners, promote your product, manage employees, to network, research the market, check industry regulations, gain information to take good decisions?
The way you express yourself matters
It influences how you show up and how others judge you. Did it happen to you that your other skills were underestimated because of your English language skills? Insufficient language skills may limit your career progress, promotion opportunities, confidence in starting own business, confidence in talking to clients, work colleagues, networking etc.
If you think that improving your professional English skills will increase your chances for success at work – come and talk to us. We will try to help you with your English.
English language skills for business
Do you know how good English you actually need to run your business? Would you like to check your current level of English and find out what you should learn? Do you want to get free advice on how to learn English effectively?
We will assess your English level and help you to set a realistic learning plan, advise how not to lose motivation and make a noticeable progress in English.
Students often lose motivation because they have unrealistic learning goals or don’t set them at all. We will give you an idea what goals are realistic, think together what is realistic in your individual situation with your other commitments and help you to set an English learning plan with a time frame.
The level of English you need
Do you need the highest standard of English in your profession or just decent English communication is enough? Do you always need to study business English to run a company? Well, not necessarily. For example, if you are a craftsman running a local shop, you will want to have a good conversation with your customer or understand a letter from HMRC, in this case General English Classes or English Conversations will help you. You are welcome to discuss with us what is the best option for you.
We also want to show you, especially if you have a previous bad experience, that learning English doesn’t have to be hard work or boring. It can be very enjoyable and interesting.
If you think that improving English language confidence will help you in your professional career, come and join us!
