1. Winter Wonderland

This year Winter Wonderland is celebrating its 10th anniversary. For six weeks, London’s Hyde Park will be transformed into Winter Wonderland. The attractions will include winter markets, circus shows and ice skating. There will be also stalls with winter treats, mulled wine and variety of food.
One of the best London attractions in winter!

18th November 2016 – 1st January 2017
The gates open at 5 p.m. on the opening night of 18th November. After that the opening times are 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. (except Christmas Day).

Free entry to the park, but the main attractions are paid.

2. Christmas in Leicester Square

Celebrate the festive season in one of London’s most famous squares.
This year in Leicester Square you can enjoy a grotto – traditional Christmas market and a vintage velvet-draped Spiegeltent – a venue pitched in the middle of the square. You you can watch there Christmas shows such as the famous La Soirée circus and many other cabaret acts.

1. Art Exhibition – Botticelli Reimagined

Details: An unmissable exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, showing some highlights from Sandro Botticelli, one of the greatest artists of all time. 1. Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival

This Halloween Beer Festival is featuring aver 100 beers from Britain, ciders and wine. Most beers will be £4 or less and there’ll be food to complement the drinks. Free entry, free face painting and free soft drinks for kids. There will be live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evening and the Rugby World Cup matches to watch on large screens. If you turn up in costume on Saturday, you can enter for free.

2. The Halloween Playground in North London

Come to the Hornsey Town Hall, Crouch End in north London to enjoy live music, silent disco, DJs, cabaret, circus performance and zombie cinema as well as other freaky antics. This is a ticketed event, the ticket price includes a warming whisky on arrival.

THE LINE
A walk between the O2 arena and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with an exhibitions of sculptures of Martin Creed, Damien Hirst and Eduardo Paolozzi. This is a three miles trail which includes, apart from sculptures, London’s Royal Docks, perfect on a sunny afternoon.

A traditional German Christmas market returns to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Back with entertainment, festive food and drinks, mulled wine, the market is the perfect place for Christmas shopping.

From 26 November 2014 to 24 December 2014
An alternative to the high street for your shopping to find Christmas gifts. The Greenwich Market is selling all kinds of festive stuff. You will find there mixing up arts, crafts, vintage fashion, antiques and other quirky things.

Did you know: Monday 6th May and Monday 26th May 2014 are public holidays in England? Link School of English is closed on May Bank Holiday weekends from Saturday to Monday – there will be no classes on those days.

Chasing the Easter Bunny or Shakespeare’s 450th Birthday Party – there is always something to do for everyone in London. Our academy of English prepared a couple of ideas for you:

Kensington Palace Easter Egg Hunt

A great opportunity to discover a trail through the beautiful Kensington Palace Gardens, meet the Georgian royal court and crack a secret code for a chocolate prize. The Easter Egg Hunt is aimed at children aged 7 to 11. Apart from this Kensington Palace will be getting into the springtime spirit with live performance and storytelling over the long Easter weekend in London.

Easter at Kew Gardens

Amongst all the fantastic kids’ activities prepared for the Easter weekend in London, the Easter Egg hunt will likely be the biggest draw for children during Kew’s Easter festival.
