What is your favourite part of teaching English?

I enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment. It is very interesting to work with students from many different countries and many different cultures. The psychology of studying and learning is also very interesting. Each student has their own unique characteristics, and it is also true that each group has a different dynamic. My hope is that through practice and study, the process of learning English can both be rewarding in itself and also help students to orientate themselves in the direction they wish to follow in their lives. I also believe that the small size of the classes offered by the school (up to 10 students per class), has strong advantages.

Henry’s interests include art, music and film and he enjoys learning about other cultures.

What is your favourite part of teaching English?

What I enjoy most about teaching in this industry is the fact that you get to meet a diverse range of students from all age groups. It is always a priviledge being able to be a part of student’s academic journey and seeing them progress from individuals with very limited English to competent speakers. This is extremely satisfying especially when you have exceptionally gifted or qualified individuals whose only barrier is the English language.

Interests: I adore going on safaris with my family when I can. There is nothing more spectacular to me than seeing lions, elephants, hyenas etc. in their natural environment. In addition to this I enjoy creating stories for young adults and children, cooking and binge watching as many cooking shows as I can. In my opinion, the Food Network is one of the best channels out there.

What is your favourite part of teaching English?

I love sharing my love for the English language and culture with overseas students and encouraging them to be able to speak confidently. I especially enjoy teaching grammar and pronunciation, and preparing students for examination classes, as I am very interested in assessment and measuring progress. I would say overall, the best thing about teaching at Link School is the students – our students are motivated and fun, which is the perfect combination for any teacher!

Interests: In her free time, Annabelle enjoys travelling, going to the cinema, reading historical non-fiction, running, cycling, playing badminton, all water sports and is currently learning how to play golf.

What is your favourite part of working at Link School of English?

The best part for me is watching how people progress in their lives thanks to being able to speak English more fluently; they find better jobs, get promoted at work, get accepted on university courses or become integrated into living in the UK. I also enjoy solving problems and finding ways of improving our work at Link School to create the best possible environment to teach and study English.

In her free time Magdalena enjoys arts, especially sculpture, exploring London, travel, learning about different cultures and having good long conversations.
