The role of Director of Studies is ideal for an experienced, Delta-qualified teacher of English who would like to take on the responsibilities of managing a team of teachers and is looking for a new challenge.
The Director of Studies will be responsible for:
Supporting a team of 15 – 20 teachers with different levels of teaching experience
Overseeing the delivery of high quality English courses
Maintaining friendly, positive and supportive work and learning environment for teachers and students
Monitoring teachers’ performance
Motivating teachers
Academic welfare of students and monitoring their progress
Student satisfaction and retention
Teacher recruitment and training
Encouraging teachers to continue professional development
Consulting on student placements and testing where necessary
Teaching English to adults

Rrequirements:
CELTA or Trinity TESOL, DELTA or Dip TESOL and university degree
Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience
Experience in teaching a range of courses including: general English, FCE, CAE, CPE exam preparation, IELTS, conversational English and business English
Outstanding teaching skills
Ability to build and motivate a team of teachers
Passion for learning and teaching
Understanding importance and the reasons of student satisfaction
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Safeguarding awareness, first aid training, basic DBS check
Previous experience in a role of Director of Studies or Academic Manager

Senior Teacher
The position of Senior Teacher is ideal for an experienced EFL professional and Delta holder who would like to progress in their career. This role will include regular classroom teaching as well as management duties.

This role is ideal for an experienced Delta-qualified English teacher who would like to take on more responsibilities, support other teachers and stay close to the classroom at the same time. This is a mainly teaching role.
