West London Carnivals and Festivals
Greenford Carnival
It takes place in July in Ravenor Park. With live music performances, dancing, tempting foods and special attractions for kids it makes a perfect family day out.
Acton Carnival
Also in July, Acton Park hosts the Acton Carnival. It with a carnival procession from Crown Street through the Acton main high street. With handmade costumes and live percussion music it’s a lively and colourful celebration of culture and community. One could perhaps call is a smaller version of the Notting Hill Carnival. Later in the park the main stage features music and dance with performances and DJs.
Ealing Jazz Festival
Saturday 23 July – Sunday 24 July, 2016 | Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, Ealing
This two days of show-stopping music is a feast for jazz lovers. Held in Walpole Park every year in July, gathers local and international musicians play jazz, funk fusion, bebop, hard bop, funky Latin tunes as well as big band favourites and contemporary jazz.
Ealing Blues Festival
The Ealing Blues Festival takes place in Walpole Park in July and is the biggest blues event in Britain. You can enjoy a variety of blues styles from established and upcoming artists.
Ealing Beer Festival
In July the Walpole Park hosts the Ealing Beer Festival. The even has been running for 30 years and is the largest beer festival in London. It features not only over 500 ales but also ciders, perries and wines.
Ealing Comedy Festival
Like a good laugh? This might be for you. The Ealing Comedy Festival takes place over two weeks in July. This London’s oldest comedy festival features internationally renown comedy stars and upcoming stand-up comedians.
