New Year’s Eve Fireworks Display in London

This is a one hour long annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks display, launched from the foot of the London Eye and from rafts on the Thames river, you can watch from most of central London. The best views are from Victoria Embankment, the South Bank, and Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge but the basic rule is that if you can see the London Eye, you’ll be able to see the show.

The Southbank Centre’s Food Market turns festive in the lead up to Christmas – a great chance to pick up some typical Christmas specials. Located in the square near the Waterloo Station, the Christmas Market will boast a wide range of seasonal produce such as mince pies, mulled wine, cheeses, chutneys, wild game, pickles, ham, cakes and chocolates. Natural History Museum Ice Rink 2013

Natural History Museum provides one of London’s most enchanting ice-rinks: a 1,000 metre outdoor affair with a Christmas tree at its centre as well as a smaller rink for children and rinkside fairground carousel. Spectators can enjoy a hot chocolate or mulled wine from the bar overlooking the ice-rink.

Great Christmas Pudding Race

If you are abound Christmas in London and want to have a good laugh, check this. You must be familiar with the egg and spoon race. In this festive relay race eggs are replaced with puddings!
The race has been going on every year since 1980 and it raises money for Cancer Research.
